The Antibody Society
The Antibody Society was formed in 2007 to further the interests of antibody engineering and antibody therapeutics in their broadest sense, as well as to ensure safe and thorough testing of antibody therapeutics. The Society encompasses this increasingly diverse field by supporting the resources that promote successful engineering of recombinant antibodies, single scaffold binders, and other facets of basic and applied research by those in academics and the private sector. The Society also seeks to provide a forum and voice for the thousands of people now working on all aspects of this global field.
For further information on how you and your organization can join the Society, please visit the Society website at www.AntibodySociety.org.

Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI), an Applera Corporation business, provides instrument-based systems, kits and reagents, software, and services to the life science industry and research community. Applied Biosystems offers innovative technologies that enable biological discoveries in basic research, pharmaceutical research and development, and human and microbial identification.
Antitope is a biotechnology company that has pioneered the development of new technologies to generate non-immunogenic antibody and protein therapeutics. The EpiScreen™ technology is used to select non-immunogenic biologics by measuring T cell responses as well as being used to identify the location of T cell epitopes. Composite Human Antibody™ and Composite Protein™ technologies are used to generate biologics devoid of T cell epitopes. Antitope has a strong client base with whom these technologies have been successfully applied.
Attana develops and sells proprietary biosensor systems enabling studies of molecular interactions in real-time without the need of labels, resulting in faster and more cost effective research. Offering affordable access and high sensitivity, Attana's systems are employed at leading universities and biotech companies in a wide variety of research fields.
BAC BV, a Dutch Biotech company, offers unique products for affinity purification, based upon proprietary single domain antibody fragments (CaptureSelect® affinity ligands). This technology can be used both in the R&D phase as well as the manufacturing phase of biopharmaceutical products. BAC markets directly, and collaborates with leading biopharmaceutical companies and world class commercialization partners.
The dream manifest has become reality with BioWa's POTELLIGENT® and COMPLEGENT™ technologies, a robust plug and play solution to enhance ADCC and CDC activity. BioWa is also developing AccretaMabs™, the next generation of antibody therapeutics against cancer, allergy and inflammation .BioWa is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko and offers licenses to its technologies and products to partners with strategic fit.
Chiome Bioscience Inc. is a biotechnology company established in Japan in 2005 to exploit a novel and proprietary mAbs generation technology called ADLib® system. The company licensed the ADLib system from.RIKEN, one of the largest research institutions in Japan. Chiome Bioscience has a number of research programs for collaborative partnerships. The company also provides solutions for lead antibody generation and novel therapeutic target discovery.
Codon Devices, the Constructive Biology Company™, is focused on enabling commercial applications of synthetic biology. The Company's proprietary BioFAB™ platform enables inexpensive, industrial-scale gene construction and optimization to accelerate biotechnology research. Codon Devices' focus is on developing high-value products in a wide variety of application areas including pharmaceuticals, agriculture, bioenergy and others.
ForteBio commercializes a novel, label-free technology to measure biomolecular interactions in real time. Its Octet System uses BioLayer Interferometry (BLI) to measure affinity, kinetics or concentration in crude or purified samples. By measuring in real time directly in the microplate, the Octet System's analytical capabilities provide greater value in applications where existing methods such as HPLC, ELISA, and surface plasmon resonance have limitations in throughput, performance, and cost.
