Abstract
The market for light vehicle suspension systems has been changing rapidly over
the past few years as technology has enabled levels of comfort and
road-holding to improve. Today advanced suspension systems are a key area
through which one vehicle can be differentiated from another.
However, changes to suspension systems that bring a range of advantages
through varying degrees of electronic control, from semi-active systems, right
through to full pneumatic or advanced electronic active systems bring with
them cost considerations. This means that suspension system design remains a
delicate balance between cost and sophistication.
This first edition report provides an in-depth market study along with
profiles of all the major players within the sector. Also include is a company
index.
