Abstract
The lighting fixtures market in Russia is undergoing a rapid growth.
Production and consumption in 2006 showed an increase by almost 28% and 15%,
respectively. Compared to 2005, Russian GDP has been growing at an average
rate of 7% annually for a number of years and trade is increasing at an
average rate of 20% annually.
This report offers a comprehensive picture of the lighting fixtures industry
in Russia, providing trends in lighting fixtures production and consumption,
imports and exports. Data on the supply structure, reference prices and
distribution channels are provided, as well as market shares of the main
players and short company profiles.
A section contains the market size and segmentation of lighting fixtures by
residential, commercial, industrial and outdoor lighting and the activity
trend for the years 2003-2006. Imports and exports by country and geographical
area are included, as well as the international trade breakdown by segment
(components, Christmas and traffic lighting, residential lighting, commercial
lighting).
A section is dedicated to the lamp market, mentioning the produced volume of
traditional lamps, high pressure digit lamps and fluorescent lamp, a sales
