Abstract
This IDC study focuses exclusively on worldwide small-format photo printers. It
contains 2006 and 2007 actual shipments and a 2008-2012 forecast. Moreover, the
study breaks out the small-format photo printer forecast by region and print
technology and discusses trends and changes that have evolved during the past
year. This study answers the following questions:
- What are the latest small-format photo printer trends?
- How many small-format photo printers will ship during the next five years?
- What are vendors' shares of the worldwide market?
"Small-format photo printer shipments are expected to continue seeing shipments
decline in all regions, with the U.S., Western Europe, and rest of world (ROW)
shipments obtaining the largest reductions," said Ron Glaz, program director of
IDC' s Digital Imaging program.
