The report is devoted to research of market of natural chalk and current standing of company-producers of the product in CIS countries. The report is composed of 9 Chapters, contains 145 pages, 26 Figures, 77 Tables and Appendix.

The sixth Chapter considers domestic consumption of chalk in Russia. It presents supply-demand balance of chalk in the country, estimates regional and sectoral pattern of the consumption, estimates effect of seasonality factor.

The seventh Chapter of the report offers price analysis of chalk markets. The Chapter presents data on average prices of Russian producers of chalk for the latest 6 years, shows current release prices on chalk of various grades. Besides, the Chapter presents analysis of export-import prices on chalk products.

The eighth Chapter of the report is devoted to production of natural chalk substitutes: synthetic and chemically-precipitated chalk. In the Chapter, data on volumes of production of the product-substitutes are given; the Chapter describes the main company-producers, presents characteristics of the products by grades.

The ninth, final Chapter of the report presents forecast of chalk production in Russia, forecast of development of the main end-uses and forecast of chalk consumption up to 2012.
